![]() Sheldon M. Bell founded Bell Financial Management Corporation (BFMC) in 1994, and remains both the company’s president and its primary motivating force. Mr. Bell has more than 25 years of experience providing wealth preservation services to his clients. Since 1984, he has founded and been president of two stock brokerage firms (broker dealers certified by the National Association of Securities Dealers – NASD). Mr. Bell holds six NASD licenses, including stock broker, options, and municipal principal. Mr. Bell is also a licensed life and health insurance agent in the states of Oregon and California. BFMC is a Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) providing professional personal money management, asset management, financial advising, investment management, and legacy planning services for retirees. As a RIA, BFMC provides its services to its clients for a low annual fee (fee-based) instead of charging commissions. Offering fee-based services, rather than earning commission on buying or selling a client's securities, eliminates the conflict of interest that traditional stockbrokers experience with their clients. In addition to its fee-based services, BFMC also specializes in the sale of retirement annuities, long-term care insurance, and life insurance. Mr. Bell also writes articles and newsletters pertaining to the state of the economy, money management tips for retirees, and other helpful financial advice. He has written newspaper columns published in The Desert Sun in Palm Springs, California and currently publishes a quarterly newsletter entitled "Sheldon's Corner."
